National virtual campaign “Empowering the Next Generation for a Resilient Future”

Coinciding with World Disaster Risk Reduction Day, the national virtual campaign “Empowering the Next Generation for a Resilient Future” aims to increase awareness among children and teenagers in the field of disaster risk reduction, ultimately creating a resilient generation. The campaign will take place in Iran, with active participation from the youth.

This scientific and educational event will involve activities such as producing and sharing podcasts, educational and awareness-raising videos, conducting interviews in online media, engaging children and teenagers in school projects, and educating students and teachers. The campaign will run from October 12 to 16.

Organized by a team of students, health professionals specializing in disasters and emergencies, cultural and social activists, and enthusiastic young individuals, the campaign will be supervised by Dr. Arezoo Dehghani and Dr. Zahra Eskandari in Iran.
