Risk communication is a component of the scale of a disasters

Effective risk communication, providing accurate information and analyzing potential risks can play an important role in preventing, reducing the effects of disasters and making safe decisions.

Risk communication is a complex, multidimensional and long-term process that with appropriate phasing based on the disaster risk cycle can play a very important and vital role in reducing risk and organizational and extra-organizational preparedness. Also in disaster risk communication, appropriate response, based on need, without wasting resources and parallel work is created and leads to improved rehabilitation processes and, most importantly, health system resilience in all stages of health management in disasters.
